Duties and Responsibilities of Accountants

Accountant posts are sanctioned in Panchayats as per the order no GO (MS) no 118/LSGD dated 26/06/2009.  Duties and responsibilities of accountants of LSGIs are specified in the order GO(MS) no 150/2009/LSGD dated 01/08/2009. In the order dates 01/08/2006, specifies 32 responsibilities and duties vested with the accountants. All the accountants should go through the order in order to minimize the audit objections.
